New page

Learn how to hold efficient meetings, build common ground, make plans, and have meaningful discussions.

The approaches presented in this class ensure that everyone’s perspective is heard, and that what is important to each person, and their contribution, is honored in the final product or decision.

Meetings based upon these methods challenge the dominant culture of hierarchy and separation. By using them, people begin to act themselves into new ways of thinking about relationships and collaboration.

Topics will include: • Focused discussion • Facilitating efficient meanings • Accessing the group mind • Agenda planning • Efficient consensus • Action planning • Strategic thinking • Making meetings fun!

Class facilitator: Laura Turiano
Meetings are every other Monday, 7-9pm, beginning 10/27/14
Check for a sign near the Omni entrance for our meeting location. Usually we're in one of the small rooms off the library in the basement.
