Welcoming Committee Mtg

* First social was awesome! And huge! We need to prep for this coming Sunday
* This Sunday 5-7pm Fingerpainting social
* Hopefully FNB will cater it, but open potluck
* Few issues came up, principally:
** Security concerns with such an open space, need folks to help keep an eye on the space - 'All hands on deck'
** Need somebody to run the door
** Someone stationed upstairs
* Door shifts - door shift person should have the phone tree and knowledge of what's happening in the space
* Kevin would like to be trained and contribute in part
* Colin would like to plug in, do a door shift
* Ryan working on How to Talk to the Police doorsign
* Ryan to set up a public terminal in La Commune - w/ homepage of info about the Omni
* Blown up version of one-sheet next to the door

* Transparency
* How do we sponsor a feeling in the community where it's okay for new folks to ask questions around where they can be, how they can plug in, etc;
=Proposals=
* Large events (over 20 people) must have at least 1 person manning the door starting 30 minutes before and until at least 15 minutes after start time.
