New page

The screenwriting workshop will go over the mechanics of writing a short screenplay. We are going to talk about formatting, plot development, character development and the very structure that holds it all together. Each class will have a lecture, writing exercise and workshop component. If you take this workshop you should come out of it with a ten minute script that one can be proud of. Students should bring a computer with screenwriting software such as Celtx or Final Draft. If you do not own a computer, please bring a pen and paper. Sarah Bierman has ghost written a number of short films for rich old men. She is passionate about the craft of screenwriting.
