Omni Commons Commons Working Group Meeting - Thursday 11 February 2016

Attendees

  • Laura, Lori, Yar, Arthur, Larry, RObb

GWS Space Request

We are requesting the Treatment Room for our designated space at Omni Commons. The space would not be locked, and would remain available as a common area when not booked on the calendar (by our group or others. It would be known as a woman’s space when we are there (though we work with men, sometimes we chose to have women only meetings. We will assist the Common’s working group in coordinating the booking requests for the space. We would like to have a locked cabinet inside or outside the room where we can safely store some of our literature and supplies which we use for our work sessions, appointments and events. We have contributed (per our sub-lease) $300 per month towards the rent/$300 per utilities since October 2015. We hope the utility costs will go down and also be based on ‘building use and size of the space’ soon. Our plan is to have at least one 2-4 hour work session weekly in this room, day to be determined. Due to our having waged work, this may not be a set day or time.

Willing to share with Chiapas Solidarity COmmittee
