Update on Loan Apps

Mr Green

  • Laura: He said "It would be easier if the ownership of the building was in an LLC. Being a new, recent nonprofit with no history of consistent donations over a long period of time is difficult. Wants to see the 990s. If we had a guarantor, would be a game-changer."
  • Jenny: Sounds like he's suggesting the same model the Berkeley Student Business folks suggested.
  • Matt: What about event rental income?
  • Laura: Don't understand why he's asking for stuff we've already sent him.
  • Laura: I think we should apply directly to Beneficial, with Dick Fletcher of BSB.
  • <side snickers about puke jokes and dick jokes>

May Rent

  • We have $5K in the bank, still could pin down 2 $5K loans
  • Probably will need another $5K loan
  • About $7500 in invoices paid in the last 30 days

Action Items

  • Apply to BSB (Laura)
  • Apply to Western Fed (jenny)
  • Omni Get Our Shit Together Sesh round 1 - Wednesday @ 2:30pm, Round 2: Saturday 4/16 1pm, prep for big restructuring work party on 4/30.
