Announcements

• Joe: Would like to discuss why ABDC revoked their proposal
• Phil: Replacing 2 compost bins with holes that were drawing fruit flies - one upstairs, one downstairs
• Joe/Helen: FNB is declaring officially that RW is not a member of Food Not Bombs
• Almaz: GCEA received several new computers, which have just been set up downstairs! You can use them instead of the upstairs terminals if you want. Had 5-6 youth coming in and using them last week. They have wifi. Ask me for the login info.

Working Group Report-Backs

Building & permits

Meetings: Mondays (still deciding on time)

• Still need to reinstall the siding in the basement
• 4ft fluorescent bulbs needed in downstairs kitchen - we have some in secure storage - Joe will help Phil tmrw

Commons

Meetings: Second and Fourth Thursdays at 6pm

• Income is down a bit for June - $2,194.75 (down from ~$5K average)
• Summer is typically slower

Communications

Finance

Meetings: Mondays at 6pm

• $10,000 in bank, but due to loan repaymednts we are broke. In July it goes down to managable. PG&E went up to $1500
  • Probably the uptick in refrigeration on both FNB & CCL's parts
  • Discussion of getting rid of the freezer behind the bar (Phat Beets maybe wants it? Use as a resource for events?)
• We are broke! Pay unpaid invoices! Join the Fundraising WG!

Fundraising

Meetings: Alternating Mondays at 2:00pm, check calendar

• We were rejected for recent grants
• Add BTC wallet address to Omni donation page
• RObb - suggests having monthly or quarterly fundraising events featuring the collectives
  • Phil: My experience with FNB fundraisers is the $$$ made isn't worth the labor
  • Laura: WOuld be great to have regular events with all involved, namely for community morale
  • Laura: Scheduling next Funraising meeting for the `7th @ 2pm

Proposal to Ban Running Wolf from the Omni Commons

Submitted by Laura, 6/14/17

• Discussed last week
• Notes redacted for security & privacy purposes - ask Jenny if you want to read them
• Confirming tonight that he is decidedly not a member and should not be let in unless babysat by the letter-in for the entirety of his stay
• 4 abstentions, only 3 consensos, no blocks
• for now, he's not a member and must be let in and leave with whoever lets him in
• final decision about the ban will be made at the next meeting on July 20th

Proposal to Hold Delegates Meetings on the 1st Thursday of the Month only

• This was discussed last week
• Jenny thinks it's a bad idea (tho regrettably will likely miss the next meeting...)
• Others agree, especially given current circumstances wrt building safety issues

Post - Meeting

• Gerald arrives and shares his perspective
• More folks install Signal, and thus join the secure omni phone tree!
