Upcoming workparty: Thursday, June 7 from 12-6pm

A community media laboratory for local artists, activists and organizers to create and produce propaganda for their campaigns, projects and actions by stewarding supplies, tools and resources as well as educational hands-on workshops. Our mission is to transform the most neglected space in the Omni Commons into a place for creative production available to members of the general public and sustained by sliding-scale donations, grants, mutual aid and creative reuse.

...an open community media lab in the basement of the Omni Commons and steward an archive of art and media produced in the lab, including historical propaganda produced for past events, causes, and actions in the community. Secondly, we will steward a zine library in Omni’s Entrance Hall as well as a radical art gallery that will be rotated regularly on the walls. The archive will also be published on an interactive website available to the general public. Thirdly, we will host a series of public ‘radical propaganda’ workshops on topics such as zine-making, button-making, screenprinting, banner-making, and printing.
