The ground floor<\/strong> of the Omni Commons is wheelchair-accessible with the exception of the Kids Room and the Small Classroom. A wheelchair bathroom is located at the southwest corner of the Entrance Hall<\/a>, a large and\u00a0well-lit space that’s highly modular and often rented for book readings and pop-up bazaars.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our beautiful Ballroom<\/a> is perfect for large events with up to 244\u00a0attendees. The stage is outfitted with a dropdown projection screen and a complete array of A\/V equipment. Take a 3D tour of the ballroom!<\/a><\/p>\n

Between the Entrance Hall and the Ballroom are the Kids Room<\/a>,\u00a0a child-safe room replete with books and games, and the Small Classroom<\/a>, prioritized for Global Communications<\/a> and Bay Area Public School<\/a> use but available to rent for small group meetings and classes. The Ticket Booth Room<\/a>, located in the southwest corner of the ground floor, can be rented for groups of 5-10 seeking accessible, private meeting space.<\/p>\n

The back of the building is home to member collectives\u00a0Counter Culture Labs<\/a>, a community\u00a0science laboratory, and Sudo Room<\/a>, a creative community and hackerspace. Take a 3D tour of our hackerspaces!<\/a><\/p>\n

The ground floor room in the northwest corner is the office of\u00a0Phat Beets<\/a>, a grassroots food justice organization.<\/p>\n

The upper level<\/strong>\u00a0of the Omni Commons features the Disco Room<\/a>, a well-lit space with mirrored walls and a sprung dance floor – perfect for dance rehearsals, yoga classes, meetings and gatherings under 50 people.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Upstairs Den<\/a> is well-suited\u00a0for classes and workshops with 10-30 attendees. There are several public computer terminals along the south wall of the den.<\/p>\n

The upper level is also home to the Omni Office and the shared office of member collectives Chiapas Support Committee<\/a> and Global Women’s Strike<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Ballroom Mezzanine<\/a> \/ Library<\/a> features comfortable seating and small tables, suitable for small, intimate groups of 5-10 peoples. There is a 4-stall unisex bathroom in the southeast corner mezzanine.<\/p>\n

\n

The\u00a0Basement Hall<\/a> of the Omni is highly flexible, hosting anything from large group meetings to dance parties and creative workshops for up to 50 attendees.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Basement Library<\/a> is ideal for reading groups, classes, and small presentations with attendance of up to 25 people. There are 6 public terminals located in this space as well.<\/p>\n

The large kitchen in the basement is stewarded by Food Not Bombs<\/a>\u00a0and is not yet\u00a0ready for commercial use. One of the three small office-sized rooms off the Basement Library is the home of\u00a0Liberated Lens<\/a>, our resident radical film collective.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
