Event:2015/01/03 Welcoming Committee Mtg

Tomorrow we're having our first Omni social, a potluck with a focus on ice cream :) starting at 6pm

General upcoming action items for the welcoming committee include:

• walkie talkies for la commune folks to get in touch with whoever's 'on call'
• public messaging terminals in the common spaces (talk to la commune?) limited to facebook and email only
• fill evening shifts (6-10pm) first - Steve's got Wednesdays
• handouts for new visitors:
  • ways to volunteer
  • monthly calendar
  • mission + vision
• Omni bible for the front desk, so whoever's running it can answer any questions
• ask la commune for walk in statistics (eg; how many people typically come in between 10-2?)
