Discussion:
- Robb: can i actually skip todays meeting and come to next weeks meeting
- Kazoo: what if we created a calander that anyone could sign up to commit to a shift per month
- Dasha: we could make part of the membership commitment in ABDC doing a monthly door shift
- Kazoo: send out a calander to all of omni to see about getting people to pre-sign-up for a shift.
- Angel: I'll reach out to folks here in Omni and other groups I interact with and see if I can bring more folks to commit to the voluntary door shift.
- Marcus: We should create a rap sheet that volunteers can learn, which will teach them how to introduce and talk about Omni to visitors
Action Items:
- create a flyer to post around Omni telling folks about joining the Welcoming WG (Marcus)
- make the doodle to schedule ABDC members (Kazoo)
- send out an alert to ABDC members about the proposed new monthly door shift commitment (Dasha)
