Updates

Niki:

• DK is meeting with Rivka from the Kenneth Rainen Foundation shortly

Mary Ann:

• Sent letters to: Kenneth Rainen Foundation; East Bay Community Foundation; Common Council Foundation; East Bay Asian Land Community Development wtvr; and Emergency Loan Fund at the SF Foundation
• Telephoned the Northern California Community ... (help you buy property)
• Heard back from the East Bay Community Foundation, but they never followed up - will write them again
• Gwen was going to write up a list of event planners that we could contact
• Idea: Look at who's renting spaces at other venues in the East Bay and send them promotional material
  • Look at Ken Cheatham's Bay Area Progressive Directory: http://bapd.org/index.html
• CSC has insurance! So shortly will start talking about moving in - probably open to paying rent for May

Jenny:

• Just met with BAPS about fiscal sponsorship - seems pretty solidly yes, but they're going to confer with the other organizers and have a response / signer for Saturday
• Currently talking with Liberated Lens about fiscal sponsorship vs sublease, and insurance questions
• Waiting on Joel to send spreadsheet of tshirt sizes and then will order tshirts / stickers / posters and set a date for packaging and sending out IndieGoGo perks
• Asked CCL to pay May rent early, which they did - will pay sudo's invoice early.

Discussion

• Mary Ann: Maybe we should have trustees that will work with the treasurer
