  • Well, we need to include an $850 check...
• We went to another NCCLF workshop. Met some interesting folks, eg son of the real estate agent for ligure club
• Laura and Jenny spoke to John Tenuto and Danielle about insuring the Omni. They will shop around for a new policy for Omni. In the meantime...
• Kelly Wright / State Farm are looking to renew the policy under a new classification (as 'community center' vs 'property management'), renew sudo under it's new 501c3 status, and renew BAPS by July 1st. Still waiting for a reply (were supposed to call at 12)
• Loan from Laura e-deposited - Omni lives another month!! <3
• Mary Ann looking to meet up with Paul Chin - interim director of La Pena. Ask him about funding sources

Finances

• Opened BAPS sub-account, ~$2K coming in by Friday
• ABDC invoiced for July - Sep rent + security deposit + $50/month utils
• Birdhouse struggling financially
• Still no check from Phat Beets - jenny emailing

Buying the Building

• Very concerned by all the new construction surrounding Omni by developers and their insider relations with banks/funders. I feel we should continue to look at/invent other routes to finance purchasing the building (don't stop our traditional route we're currently taking though).
• I'm doing research in the laws regarding crowdfunding based real estate purchases. If you have knowledge about this email me lifenowreborn@gmail.com
• Sent an email to Stephaney asking for clarification on how long it will take her to figure out if she can get a grant for her services, and what would be a minimum number of hours she would need to get us started on our loan package. jazzhands
