Ideas
- Grants for cultural events put on for free for the neighborhood
- Lots of small nonprofits and artist spaces are being driven out – concern about these spaces. We could easily absorb some of that, we're an antidote to this gentrification
- $25K+ is a large grant, takes more time
- Grants for accessibility – several grants available for disability funding
- "Salvation Quintuplet" - 5 people to lend $10K to get us through the next 3-6 months while waiting on response to loan apps
- We have space available for small nonprofits and art spaces being priced out of the market
- Funding to rehab a space
Priorities
- Emergency loan forrent
- Money for the mortgagee
- Kitchen up to code
- Ballroom up to code
- Neighborhood events as the goal
