Event:2015/08/10 Building Working Group
Building WG August 10
last week: https://omnicommons.org/wiki/Event:2015/08/03_Building_Working_Group
who's here?
- rob, daniel, mary, matt, yar, joe, kerrie, laura late
south wall
- saturday work party was great! whitney said no safety issues, ready for inspection. just need to recap some wires because they weren't twisted first, and connect some wires to their breakers.
- conduit against the wall needs a "dog-ear bend" to be against the wall, not just sitting straight - but this is ok for inspection right now
- matt says these will take "almost no time"
- rob says we need more tyvek
- joe will schedule the inspection
- still didn't finish the exit sign because it has to go on the drywall. last inspection will cover that.
doors
- still waiting on jessie to make plumb lines
- matt: we have an actual plumb bob in the closet
money
- Rob wants money for a can of black paint
- Also for "shoulder nut eyes" to mount our projector in the ballroom. Probably $40 for 5 total including shipping online.
- Does anyone know if we have this in budget or do we have to ask finance?
- Rob already looked at Urban Ore ...
- Daniel wants to buy more ethernet cable for the run from Rise Above to Sudoroom routers. Would make everyone's internet faster. Would also help create stage lighting for the ballroom.
regular saturday workday?
- yar: how about we do this every week?
- we really need to have organizers come BEFORE volunteers

- basement is connected to ballroom because they share the floor
