Facilitation Training

• AORTA: Non-oppressive facilitation training
• People concur it would be good to develop a process and train ourselves.
• Jenny will set up a Doodle for scheduling and a Facilitation wiki page.
• Send announcement to list & at delegates meeting

Community Outreach

• Need to create a flyer that describes the project to neighbors
  • Interested in writing? Kazoo, Danny, Alana, Jenny, others?
  • Maybe Kazoo to screenprint?
• Once flyer is made, propose neighborhood outreach to delegates + communities to connect to more neighbors
• Set dates for community potlucks once lease is signed

Facilitation

• Need to set up structure/process for how meetings are facilitated.
• Niki to propose facilitation training at next delegates meeting

Governance

• Jenny working on a proposal for delegates, decision-making & board of directors
  • Distinguishing between members, projects & business partners
  • Have more combination w/ those w/ experience organizing collectives to anticipate problems or conflicts

Longer Term Goals

• Seeding questions / conversations throughout the omni
• Providing the resources + support to other groups throughout the omni
• Conflict mediation
• Provide facilitation training to the collective
• Invite the elders

Next meeting

• Pre-meeting welcome time is now set for Thursdays from 6:30-7pm
• Sunday hangout w/ Omni folk in Jenny's backyard, 3pm-sunset - food at 5:30!
• Monday, June 9, 5:30-7pm
