  • $8,912 in checking & savings after jan payments - $7500 of which was a single large donation
  • two large donations - one for $7,500 (deposited) and one for $10,000 toward general omni purposes
  • two large donations for $10K incoming for The Village - sierk watching the mail
  • first generosity.com funds dispersonal will be jan. 21st for ~$10K
  • We need to present the budget to the delegates at the next meeting. Does it take into account the kitchen remodel budget? Done
  • jenny: switched mortgage payments to the 8th of every month to give us an end-of-month buffer. december's payment didn't go through as i'd just transferred the rest of our savings on the 1st, and unify didn't let us know until i noticed and sent a bunch of messages. we are back on track as of today.

  • Laura applied for free composting bins up to $500 from Alameda County.
  • laura finishing PDF grant but waiting to hear who else is interested in being part of this coalition. $$$ for event rental, food, walkie talkies, other supplies to kick off the launch of this coalition
    • should we join the Community Defense Network? - Critical Resistance, Community Ready Corps, APTP, NLG, AROC, Int'l Jewish AntiZionist Network

    • no contract, published w/o commons wg discussion, >11db sound til midnight, unpermitted booze, $200 paid in cash to almaz which she gave to jenny as gcea october rent.
  • second time (to my knowledge) the upcoming "it takes a village" baby shower: https://omnicommons.org/calendar/wordpress/wp-admin/post.php?post=20197&action=edit
  • laura: main problem is having booze w/o a permit
    • write up the lease violations (eg sublessing, building & permitting rules) - unpermitted booze events advertised publicly have happened at least 3 x - NYE event, Sep 30th event, others
    • write up delegates proposal w/ commons working group that this is a warning, and if it happens again they'll be evicted, given the threat this poses to the omni
    • send note to their fiscal sponsor as well (if proposal is passed)

sin fronteras lease

  • via sudo: can we add in renegotiating the rental amount with each option to renew?
  • stipulation on use of ballroom & entrance hall for SF events - eg must be a request to commons, some minimum rental amount or limited # of free events, etc
    • laura: afaik they bring the events in themselves, don't charge / rent space for events
      • jenny: just add "use of the Common Areas shall be coordinated through the Commons Working Group"
  • mop sink / trash area upgrades? via dk at last delegates meeting
