Pending Event Requests
- Amnesty International Northern CA Meeting (4/21) PP:Joe
- Job Club (5/1) Maria will reach out to check in on value-match and volunteer ideas
- Headshot Happy Hour and Game Night (5/3) PP:Almaz .. as per working group discussion should ask for $500 and make sure they get Special Event and Alcohol Permit
- Stop the Killings Caravan Concert 4 the People (5/6) PP: Julio .. as per working group discussion sounds in line with values, should still ask for $100/hr .. and make sure SEP/Alcohol permits are in place
- Bay Area Transitions Lab (5/7) PP:Julio .. as per working group discussion NOT waiving cleaning deposit, but can take just one deposit for both events
- “Mixing & Dancing” ETC (Education Through Collaboration) MEETUP #2 (5/10) PP: Julio .. as per working group discussion should stop amplified sound by 10pm
- Bay Area Transitions Lab (5/11) PP:Julio.
- GAR Music Video (5/12) PP: Julio - contract sent and invoiced. Still in progress. They may want to change the date
- Coalition for a Revolutionary Bay Area Politics: Calling All Friends (5/18) PP: Lynn .. contract is out
- AIUSA Northern California state meeting (5/19) PP: Laura, they came in look at space over the weekend and we are going to meet to deal w contract,etc. this week
- Intimate (name change, formerly Soul and Spirit) (6/2) PP:Joe agreed to $, working on alcohol, SEP permit, and insurance
- Counter Culture Labs 5 Year Anniversary (6/6) PP:Lynn .. will have to get their own alcohol permit
Recurring Events
- GUST - Second Thursdays - Activist flashdancemob rehearsal - $20/sesh - PP:Jenny
- Uniquely Yours Writing Workshop - Peggy signed contract and paying invoice before each session
- Worker’s Discussion Group (3/18) - PP Julio; recurring event contract and invoice in place
- Freestyle Soccer: Hasn't paid for April. Laura will check in with them, re-sent invoice. Only came twice in March and not in April. MAy be interested in another regular week night in May. But I am reluctant unless they pay ahead of time and pay for April.
- Bahiya Group, currently M,W through end of May, PP Lynn
- Capoeira starts June 1, one month trial MWF in entrance hall, PP:Lynn
Other
- Revolve Solar email about Omni space. Lynn asked them to submit a request and reemailed them 4/23 about their interest. Jenny is interested in possible collaboration/resource on Omni solar plans.
- Cafe Sin Fronteras: WG agrees that including in the lease that they (depending what they ask for) can use up to 1 weekday night and 1 weekend night in the ballroom and 1 evening per month in the entrance hall for free. Avail time doesn't carry over to subsequent months. All other caveats that apply to outside events apply to them.

- Julio talked with Jeff from IWW General Defence Committee about suggestions for doing security. He will
invite him to the May 14th commons meeting.
- Julio - updates on contact with Tur-Ha/CRC?
- Katrina will continue researching alternatives and make contact with 1st Congregation on alternatives to calling police
