Kitchen Meeting - 5/2/18 - 6-7pm
attendees
- jenny, joe, robb, sierk, yar
agenda
- Followup on previous action items
- Go over contacts and consulting leads (see Trello: https://trello.com/b/tieJ0V3h/omni-kitchen )
- Assess funding and next steps (consolidate w/ additional $500K for building maintenance w/ mortgage loan from Beneficial?)
previous action items
- dishwasher (phil) - research added to trello. conveyor not necessary, mostly washing pots & pans instead of dishes
- Phil: For convenience, I am are that we will be looking for an above the counter dishwasher, rather than the below the counter model. The other issues are whether a conveyor machine is desired (much more expensive) to handle large quantities of dishes. Also, would we want to purchase a low temperature (treating with a chemical bath) or high temperature (killing germs at 180 degrees). Many people at the Omni dislike the extensive use of chemicals, so we probably go with the high temperature. Right now you're looking at $5-7,000 for an over the counter model and about $15,000 for a conveyor model. Quality used machines are available on Ebay and Craig's List that could save us a little money.
- robb: some on-demand that do 9.4 gallons/minute
- joe: 5-6 should do it (something 4.62 gallons/hr)
- sierk: from plumber i understood thatpipes and heater most important considerations

- remove concrete where main is. entire north wall between stove and pantry, and front wall underneath existing sink. (see diagram)

- Robb: Think we're getting only 100amps total to the building
- Joe: Need to know what we need to have dedicated. Know what it is for residential, but not commercial.
- Yar: In that case AC might be the way to go as there's barely anything on it right now
- Joe: Need to know what we need to have dedicated. Know what it is for residential, but not commercial.
