Discussion

• Don not paying for any space rental, wants to exchange for work done but has no receipts. The floor looks terrible and he is in bad standing. Niki reaching out to inform him he can't have classes until he's paid and gotten insurance.
• Jenny bartending donation-bar at Bike Smut tonight, proceeds to Omni, perhaps something we can do regularly at ballroom events?

Last Week's Events

• Kommunity FK - dk to follow up with don - now gonna be in May (removed from calendar until actual date confirmed..Don emailed by DK telling him)
• West African Dance Class - waiting to hear from Cere, follow up w/Kwe if they're interested - trial run on Wednesdays for 1 month
• Drum Sunday - no response - Niki just emailed Dragon again
• Isaura - Jenny to follow up on getting contract signed - done, still need to collect deposit, may have lost contract >_< jenny will follow up
• Being Carried yoga - Rachel will follow up, happened the 24th
• Ving Tsun Class - Niki will check in w/Max about moving these classes to the Den; needs to have insurance
  • Don also doesn't have insurance - DK and Niki will talk with Don
• Renovating Ourselves: An Omni Commons Organizing Series
  • an event brought by matt.. six sessions 1 wk apart, monday nights, to talk about omni organizing - an outside speaker coming to each one

• Happy Homes Tenants Meeting - Jenny - published on the calendar!
• Women's Variety Show - Jenny - cancelled for now
• Space Tourism - Laura, Niki & Danny Laura will email asking for at least $1000 dollars. I (Laura) sent an email but haven't heard back.
• This is your brain on Race with Victor Lewis - laura will f/u and ask for $300 or a %, whichever is greater. I (Laura) emailed but haven't heard back
• Emerson Elementary School auction - April 25, Sarah following up. They'd like to provide childcare, will need ballroom + a space - Jenny will email Sarah about it getting on the calendar
• Space Apps - Jenny - relayed to shorter Ryan - followed up w/ Lisha & cc'd Ryan
• Wedding Reception - Niki will talk with Zoe - currently on hold
• 28toomany - Rachel will mentor Noemie
• SELC event - willing to barter legal services - Jenny will ping Matt

• Invite-only

• Inquiring about camping in the ballroom
  • Should receive a copy of the Safer Space policy
• Schedule quiet time during the talks
• Mira from shareable came and met with Commons -
  • we are a go
  • they are sponsored by the Tides foundation
  • paying $25K to fly people out; so we are asking $3K/wknd. Mira seems cool with it.
  • they will provide all event insurance incl. ppl sleeping there
  • no alcohol even for party -
  • ppl campin out in the ballroom ok? (tell/ask discuss)
  • must send them contract, Tides foundation will send check
