• EFF meetup - Jenny, how much are they paying? - $300
• Dragon did not come to meeting on Weds to discuss proposals. Niki will follow up re: submitting proposals via /occupy.
• Debrief on FNB Fundraiser and Megapolis Festival
  • We should get more training on sound (+1 ju)
  • Event production collective
  • dk: worker owned & operated dedicated new collective / WG for running 'big events', an event production collective - a nonprofit
  • Offer simple perks for monthly donations - eg; frontrow seats at LC poetry readings, a key to the building (should be an application process, then, to demonstrate stewardship knowledge and care
• Is the form at /occupy working? There were no new requests this week.
  • Niki just submitted a test event, no email showed up :(

• dk: let's define & document clearly the process for events that serve alcohol (SPAZ, EFF, etc.)
• Reminder that any public content being published and/or distributed needs to be run by a Commons WG member to vet anything associated with our name
  • Eg; the 'Fuck Off Google' flyer contains the phrase, "any autistic sociopath taking home a Google paycheck..."

• B.I.T.C.H. Fest - Laura will contact to give more information; updates? I emailed but didn't hear back
• NLG Convention Student Party - Laura will contact; updates? Didn't respond to email giving them until today to respond - deleted request
• Isaura’s Brazilian Workshop of Dance, Rhythm, Chant with Live Percussion 6/6 3-6: will approve once Niki checks with event in disco room on loudness - Niki will check in w/Isaura; no update as of 06/13/15 - ask collectives for feedback re: impact noise first b4 rescheduling. Think 6/6 was cancelled / moved.

• Playback Theatre workshop for our ensemble 7/5 9:30-5:30 ballroom SOmeone needs to talk to them about what they are offering, or be pp - Niki emailed for more info, not committing to pp yet, no response as of 06/13/15
• Heart of Community Dinner: Living Sustainably Together in Oakland - niki emailed, no response
• Healers/daisy world tour kick off - Laura will email but wont be day of pp - are they really asking for the basement? as of 6/6 I have gotten in touch with organizer but we haven't discussed details; updates? Phone tag
• Benefit for Emilia: kicking leukemia’s ass - complicated event. Jenny will email. - Niki spoke with organizer who is still working on some details. Niki said she would hold it on the calendar although it is not confirmed. Niki followed up, they are still working out details
• Stay Brown Stay Down Fest - After 3rd email, Brenda hasn't responded; updates? Want to postpone until the fall. Will submit another request whe they know the date.
• Takun Takun (“move -move”/”Shake it “in Farsi) Persian DJ Dance Party Fundraiser - Noemie in touch, taking it slow; We will connect in a week form now.
• Building Our Future: 15 Years of A World Without Prisons - Event is progressing will publish when contract is signed prob next week. (looks like laura is in touch)
  • niki: Laura was listed as the point of contact. I have not contacted them but am happy to do so just want to confirm that Laura has not already reached out.
• Lyn Hejinian (Ballroom): Ask Stephen - Laura emailed. He will take on for now, but can't guarentee he will be at events.
• Lyn Hejinian (Disco Room) - Apparently 10 months from now.

New Pending events:

• HEAVY BREATHING: Getting Dirty with Cullwick and Munby - Sarah P. contacted them and explained that the space is not 100% secure and private. They are doing this workshop elsewhere (other Heave Breathing workshops are happening at the Omni however)https://www.facebook.com/HeavyHeavyBreathing. Sarah - Ask them about their insurance since it includes physical activity?
