sound wall
Just a few remaining items on a punchlist to finish. Then rough framing inspector comes. Expect to be done by tomorrow but Sean said DK cancelled the Weds inspection. Sean has to leave Thursday. So DK will reschedule for Weds.
disco room
Just need a piece of plywood to cover the hole.
basement
Rob treated the 2 moldy basement room carpets with borax. Still have to steam clean the middle room, and Phat Beets if they want. Smells like soap instead of mold.
bathroom
Still figuring out if we have better paint
ethernet
All over the building now. Another run coming (rear mezzanine to stage). Routers not ready but still.
laura
- fixed lots of outlets & switches, covered bulbs. Moved lots of crap into basement. Trash room also filling up. Time for a dump run.
- reinstalled 2nd floor ceiling panels. Some where tucked up in there. She bought some new. Also some new channels to mount them in. The new ones are white, could be a PITA to paint them. Who cares. Might do the same thing downstairs.
electrical
- Gerald's putting together a crew to work on electrical stuff on our list. Includes fixing/installing electric lights, installing fixtures, decommisioning things that can't be where they are, replacing outlets that need to be GFCI. stuff like that. so he has a list. it's all code-compliance/fire.
- need to remove old dead conduit from up on the LC wall. way too high even for the scaffolding. need to decommission it at the ceiling ALL THE WAY up. may need a ladder-scaffolding combo or a harness
doors
front door
- big priority. part of the new permits. DK says he is in touch with Jack with an anarchist carpentry collective that has agreed to do the door. Trying to schedule work with them.
- jenny: we need to test the new cheap closer and set up panic bar/override somewhere to test. good chunk of budget not yet spent.
- jake, marc and substack have been working on the access system. set up a beaglebone in a secure enclosure by the front door with backup battery & automatic hardware reboot
sudo/ccl door
- sudo/ccl's door hangs the wrong way. don't know how to rehang it. it's big. We need a carpenter to rehang it
Next week
- Dump run needed - Jenny will call Ed & accompany
- Test out door hardware - Jenny will email Dusty and Anka
