• Hardware has arrived, Jack will be installing it when he returns around October 8th

• No matter what, yar is mounting the toilet by the end of the month

South Wall

via Joe: "We have put in a great effort to this point on this gargantuan Sound Wall project. I am goin to be on the Job Tues and Wed, and Fri and with some concentration and help the wall could be finished by Sat for the Omni's first Wedding. We have the 2nd layer of dry Wall 2/3 done on the ground floor and have a good system for working as a team. Come on out Tues at 10 . . .same wed and Fri.

BTW if you know where the 2 large caulking guns are I would love to know.

Other ToDos

• Remove bolts on exterior shattuck doors and replace with panic bars.
• Panic bar the ballroom - basement door (and any other remaining panic bars)
• Fill in all empty breaker slots on all electrical panels (may have been been completed?)
• Fire suppression hood
• Cover basement ceiling with tiles
• Patch all holes in walls
• Are all necessary smoke detectors installed?
• Laminated "This is not an exit" signs. They are up but not laminated. The requirements dont say they have to be laminated, but it looks better. We should also put one on the ballroom side of the door behind the bar.
• A floor plan providing emergency procedures information shall be posted at every stairway landing, at every elevator landing, and immediately inside all public entrances to the building. • Calculate and post occupancy signage for all large rooms and post (ballroom, disco, basement, bocce court, front room)
• Before inspection make sure all clutter is removed, exit passages are clear and all extension cords are removed.

Big questions

• Will the fire inspactor make us make the exit hall out to 48th have 1 hour fire rated walls? The new doors into Rise Above weren't there at the time of the previous inspection and they are not fire rated.
• Will she ask to see fire safety and evacuation plan documents that we haven't prepared? It appears we are required to have an approved written fire safety and evac plan but she didn't mention that in her previous inspection.

Action Items

• Jenny to order 120 1'x 1' ceiling tiles from Marcus Ace Hardware in Jack London Sq
• Find someone who can help with doors (eg a sudoer for sudo door..)
