Announcements

  • Update to ESS plugin on our bug request, check that syndication feeds are working and recently approved events are showing up as of midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 8th. Updated at 5:54pm PST on Sunday, Dec. 6th.
    • Rob: We need to verify that when we are working on events on /occupy if we click publish it should update the calendar? Jenny?

Updates on work done on computer related stuff since meeting at Laura's

  • Rob - hasn't gotten inventory of AV, been very busy
  • Laura and Jeremy have rewritten the PP instructions. Have posted new version on the wiki, some small changes still pending.

Any other updates re event related computer stuff?

Changing meeting time?

  • Laura, Jeremy and Robb agree to change the meeting day/time (Rob says its the lord's day).
  • Jeremy says not Monday, Tues, Wed (sudo mtg)
  • Since we are doing all the event reviewing on one day, do we need to meet every week?
  • Proposal here is to meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, opposite of the delegates mtg.We would change the deadline for event requests to second thurs instead of second fri. We might get more people since many are used to meetings on thurs. Any remote comments? Texted Julio for his opinion. Says he would prob be able to come more often.
  • Laura changed the request deadline info on /occupy and /calendar
  • Meetings are now 2nd and 4th Thursdays

  • Friday, 12/11: Cast and crew screening of the film Gold Fish Casino - PP: Robb? Robb will contact Sarolta agsin to finalize. He was waiting to hear back from her.
  • Saturday, 12/12: Report Back From the Rojava Revolution - PP: Jenny, ? What does this question mark mean, Jenny? Did they sign contract etc? RObb will contact Jenny to see if she needs any help.

Lingering Pending

  • Sunday, 12/13: Student Thesis Project: The Proposal - they want to rent the bathroom. are offering $150-200. Robb will communicate with them to see if it is actually doable and is willing to be pp.
  • Sunday, 12/13: holiday potluck december timebanks.bace.org - no ofer, but longstanding communiy org that operates out of here - 50% of door? Laura will follow up with Gwen.

Action Items

  • get updates from Arnold/Arthur abour fund raising parties on 12/20 and 2/13, benefit for peoples park still on occupy - Laura
  • respond "no" to Not Your Baby- laura
