- Ping Marcus re: chalkboard wall [jenny] - has walls, still need to paint them. where to do that? outside, use drop cloths
- Update wiki with /ToFix [jenny/robb] - ongoing

- laura was going to ask the folks giving a quote on the exterior siding about putting windows in there
- need to schedule a work day to finish it up - maybe Saturday, Aug 26th? - robb will coordinate with yar
- we'll do it that day if not earlier
- robb will call children's hospital day before to schedule opening the gate

next step: email inspector proposing an AMMR

Painting the entrance hall

- jenny will procure paint this week
- need to organize a work party to prep the walls - spackling

- robb finds them in CCL traps in the mornings
- robb put borax + sugar in the upstairs kitchen to kill roaches
- incorporate with the work party - block off the superhighway in the basement duct leading to 48th
- pour concrete? cinderblocks? measure the "ratline" (basement duct to street)
- will need facemasks full hazmat suits
Downstairs kitchen remodel
- no news since last week
- budgeted for 52k? - that was a combined ballroom / kitchen budget for a kiva loan
- lots of decisions unclear regarding the plan and thus the cost. need a new meeting
can we separate this kitchen project into phases? what would a minimal phase 1 be?
- future kitchen meeting: david, max cadji/phat beets, ken, joe, sierk, anka & tuan, yar, jenny, ryan g
- jenny will start a new, full kitchen budget sheet (talk to dk)
- phase 1: walls, windows, fire suppression (quoted at $5K by john@genesis-fire.com)

- City of Oakland Facade Improvement Program - 50% funding (up to $30K) for exterior painting, awning and signage
