Meetings

  • Prior agreement: first Thursdays at 5pm, but Maria cannot
  • Agreed on second and fourth Mondays at 5pm - SUCCESS!
  • Laura will follow-up with Almaz to make sure she knows
  • Make it a practice to attend at least one meeting per month
  • Julio to make a list of everyone's phone numbers
  • Next meeting March 12/26

Review and approve Member Collective event procedure

Damage deposit and refund process in Quickbooks

  • We need a better process for deposit than people giving us a check. I.e. find a way to charge/precharge and refund.
  • Motion to ask the finance working group to charge the $500 deposit and reimbursing. Simplest possible for the procedure.
  • Laura will talk to Jenny about the specifics of the process

Check overdue event invoices

  • Phat Beets $50 for holiday party... Julio will follow up with Asia
  • Justin Gilmore .. Julio follow up

Nick Crisis at Classy Prom

  • Nick was banned from the Omni. Security wanted to call police.
  • Joe: We need a certain quality and quantity of security, and enforce not calling the police, or enforce/provide emergencies
  • Enforce 1 security per 50 people; suggest CRC.
  • Joe: review upcoming events for any that might require strict security
  • Katrina to research alternatives to 911
  • Julio to try to get a workshop for Alternatives for Mental Health Emergencies
  • Joe to call the Event Helper to get guidance
  • Katrina: Add to next meeting's agenda
