Food Not Bombs

We are salivating over the prospect of having a walk-in freezer! We also need pantry storage that is reasonably easy to access. And we have a grant for an industrial-sized refrigerator, but we do not have a place to put one, so we would like to have a place for that.

Minimum Requirements

  • Refrigerated and un-refrigerated storage space.
    • FNB has a small grant to buy a fridge or freezer.
  • Pick-up / drop-off route to storage space.

The Commons

in order to represent our mutual, common interest, let's also specify our minimum requirements for the commons between us.

Minimum Requirements

  • some well-lit (natural) space
  • some quiet space
  • some space for seating
  • shower
  • restrooms, sufficient for space usage purposes.
  • at least one kitchen space
  • at least one eating space
  • large event space (specifically the whole ballroom)
  • multiple classroom / presentation spaces
    • In order to promote safe space and to support the challenging of dominant culture, it is integral to ensure in the common space there is at least one reservable, enclosed space, with reasonable expectations of privacy in that space. The intention is to support any community's need to convene and discuss issues relevant to their community with safety and privacy.
